Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Young Man Wearing A Plumed Hat, A Yellow Doublet With Slashed Sleeves, Lace Cuffs And Collar, Resting His Right Hand On A Plumed Helmet by Niccolò dell'Abate for USD 86,500.00 (€ 68,282.29). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Niccolò dell'Abate have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Présumé D'Ercole II D'Este in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 313,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Man Wearing A Plumed Hat, A Yellow Doublet With Slashed Sleeves, Lace Cuffs And Collar, Resting His Right Hand On A Plumed Helmet von Niccolò dell'Abate für USD 86.500,00 (€ 68.282,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Niccolò dell'Abate auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Présumé D'Ercole II D'Este im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 313.000,00.
