This artwork by Niccolò dell'Abate achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in March 2014. In the Dessins Anciens et du XIXème siècle auction, the work Néphélé Recevant Le Bélier Ailé Chrysomallos sold for EUR 17,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niccolò dell'Abate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Présumé D'Ercole II D'Este in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 313,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Niccolò dell'Abate erzielte im März 2014 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dessins Anciens et du XIXème siècle wurde die Arbeit Néphélé Recevant Le Bélier Ailé Chrysomallos für EUR 17.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niccolò dell'Abate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Présumé D'Ercole II D'Este im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 313.000,00.
