Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four putti holding two flags and a helmet by Niccolò dell'Abate was sold in the Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries auction at Sothebys in New York in January last year. The price achieved of USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,733.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niccolò dell'Abate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Présumé D'Ercole II D'Este in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 313,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four putti holding two flags and a helmet von Niccolò dell'Abate wurde im Januar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
