Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a Philosopher by Niccolò dell'Abate for EUR 27,720.00. This price was achieved in the auction Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, Session I at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niccolò dell'Abate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Présumé D'Ercole II D'Este in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 313,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a Philosopher von Niccolò dell'Abate für EUR 27.720,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, Session I bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niccolò dell'Abate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Présumé D'Ercole II D'Este im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 313.000,00.
