Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Artcurial held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Mini-Sculpture I, 1969 by Nicolas Schöffer. It changed hands for a price of EUR 780.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Schöffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mini-Sculpture I, 1969 von Nicolas Schöffer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 780,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Schöffer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spatiodynamique 24, 1955 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
