Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Antique Altar With The Triumph Of Silenus At The Base by Nicolas Poussin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2012. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,843.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Poussin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Baptism Of Christ in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 1,815,000.00 (€ 2,145,117.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit An Antique Altar With The Triumph Of Silenus At The Base von Nicolas Poussin kam im Juli 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
