Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Family, Traditionally Identified As Mr. And Mrs. Saint-Martin With Their Two Children In A Landscape by Nicolas Lancret for USD 68,750.00 (€ 63,692.79). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Lancret achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 2,655,000.00 (€ 2,174,269.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Family, Traditionally Identified As Mr. And Mrs. Saint-Martin With Their Two Children In A Landscape von Nicolas Lancret für USD 68.750,00 (€ 63.692,79) erwerben.
