Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Etude de chasseur by Nicolas Lancret. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,936.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Lancret achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 2,655,000.00 (€ 2,174,269.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Etude de chasseur von Nicolas Lancret zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.936,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Lancret erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.655.000,00 (€ 2.174.269,10).
