A top price for Nicolaas Pieneman
In September 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Rejoyce in the return by Nicolaas Pieneman. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,346.00. With this result, Rejoyce in the return is even the most expensive work of art by Nicolaas Pieneman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rejoyce in the return von Nicolaas Pieneman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.346,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
