Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Figures on a frozen lake by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 69,750.00 (€ 119,409.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures on a frozen lake von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.750,00 (€ 119.409,18).
