Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Skating in a winter landscape at dusk by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 69,750.00 (€ 119,409.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skating in a winter landscape at dusk von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.750,00 (€ 119.409,18).
