Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nikers Pink; Untitled (2 Works) by Nick Walker was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France auction at Bonhams in New York in August 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 864.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Walker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moona Lisa in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,219.06).
