Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Balloon Canvas - 2008 by Nick Walker. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Walker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moona Lisa in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,219.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Balloon Canvas - 2008 von Nick Walker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Walker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moona Lisa im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.219,06).
