Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Napoleon by Nick Smith was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,280.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work $ 195,040,000 USD, 2022 in October this year with an auction result of GBP 21,760.00 (€ 24,986.53).
