Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Whaam!, 2021 by Nick Smith was auctioned at Bonhams in October this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,616.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work $ 195,040,000 USD, 2022 in October this year with an auction result of GBP 21,760.00 (€ 24,986.53).
