Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nick Darmstaedter could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Kano changed hands for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,640.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Darmstaedter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suck in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 117,991.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nick Darmstaedter konnte im April 2017 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Kano für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.640,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Darmstaedter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suck im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 117.991,76).
