Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1675 by Nicholas Dixon was sold in the The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,606.92). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicholas Dixon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of James, Duke Of York, Later James Ii, King Of England (1633-1701), Circa 1665, which sold at auction in December 2018 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,889.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1675 von Nicholas Dixon wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.606,92) einen neuen Besitzer.
