Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Young Boy, In Blue Coat With Slashed Sleeves To Reveal White, Red Cloak And Lace Cravat, Long Curling Powdered Hair by Nicholas Dixon was sold in the Important Gold Boxes and Portrait Miniatures auction at Christies in London in November 2006. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,514.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicholas Dixon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of James, Duke Of York, Later James Ii, King Of England (1633-1701), Circa 1665 in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,889.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Young Boy, In Blue Coat With Slashed Sleeves To Reveal White, Red Cloak And Lace Cravat, Long Curling Powdered Hair von Nicholas Dixon wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Important Gold Boxes and Portrait Miniatures bei Christies in London versteigert.
