Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch Eva En De Slang by Nic Jonk was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nic Jonk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nereide op Triton II in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 21,510.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch Eva En De Slang von Nic Jonk wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nic Jonk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nereide op Triton II im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.510,00.
