Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work A Dancer On One Leg by Nic Jonk for EUR 937.50. This price was achieved in the auction Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nic Jonk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nereide op Triton II in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 21,510.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Dancer On One Leg von Nic Jonk für EUR 937,50 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nic Jonk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nereide op Triton II im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.510,00.
