Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Thanh Giong on his horse by Nguyen Tu Nghiem was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 28,050.00 (€ 3,003.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Thanh Giong on his horse von Nguyen Tu Nghiem kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 28.050,00 (€ 3.003,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
