Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Horse Rider by Nguyen Tu Nghiem for HKD 10,080.00 (€ 1,094.95). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 12,000.00 – 22,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Horse Rider von Nguyen Tu Nghiem für HKD 10.080,00 (€ 1.094,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
