The work Horse Rider | 騎馬 by Nguyen Tu Nghiem was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 3,721.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Horse Rider | 騎馬 von Nguyen Tu Nghiem kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 3.721,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
