Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2020. In the La Mystique de L'Indochine auction, the work Children | 孩子 sold for HKD 60,480.00 (€ 6,379.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion La Mystique de L'Indochine wurde die Arbeit Children | 孩子 für HKD 60.480,00 (€ 6.379,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
