Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nguyen Tu Nghiem could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho auction, the work Ancient Dance changed hands for HKD 10,710.00 (€ 1,163.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 12,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tu Nghiem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nguyen Tu Nghiem konnte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho wechselte die Arbeit Ancient Dance für HKD 10.710,00 (€ 1.163,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tu Nghiem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir du passé (Souvenir of The Past) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97).
