Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | London, which included this untitled work by Neil Raitt. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,984.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Raitt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cabinectomy, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,137.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | London durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Neil Raitt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.984,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Neil Raitt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cabinectomy beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.137,66) versteigert wurde.
