Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Mountain Cabin (Fade) by Neil Raitt. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,772.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Raitt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cabinectomy, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,137.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountain Cabin (Fade) von Neil Raitt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.772,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Neil Raitt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cabinectomy beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.137,66) versteigert wurde.
