Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now Evening Sale, which included the work Atmosphere by Neil Jenney. Here, the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 100,000.00 (€ 92,013.25). Admittedly, works by Neil Jenney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Threat and Sanctuary in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 965,000.00 (€ 866,636.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Atmosphere von Neil Jenney zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 100.000,00 (€ 92.013,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Neil Jenney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Threat and Sanctuary im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 965.000,00 (€ 866.636,73).
