In March 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Rain by Nazar Bilyk. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,310.12), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nazar Bilyk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work CUT, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,208.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im März 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rain von Nazar Bilyk zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.310,12) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nazar Bilyk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit CUT beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.208,95) versteigert wurde.
