Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Natori Shunsen (1886-1960) by Natori Shunsen was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2004. It achieved a price of USD 1,792.50 (€ 1,458.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natori Shunsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sosaku hanga shunsen nigao-e gashu (Creative prints: collected portrait-pictures by Shunsen) in March 2001 with an auction result of USD 25,850.00 (€ 29,395.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Natori Shunsen (1886-1960) von Natori Shunsen kam im März 2004 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.792,50 (€ 1.458,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natori Shunsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sosaku hanga shunsen nigao-e gashu (Creative prints: collected portrait-pictures by Shunsen) im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.850,00 (€ 29.395,04).
