The work Swingin' by Nathaniel Mary Quinn was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 157,500.00 (€ 141,981.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nathaniel Mary Quinn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Over Yonder sold at auction in October 2019 with the realized price of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 246,484.76).
