Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Angel Rocker by Nathan Oliveira was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,240.00 (€ 9,689.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nathan Oliveira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Woman With Long Hair, 1959 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 144,062.50 (€ 124,438.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Angel Rocker von Nathan Oliveira kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.240,00 (€ 9.689,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nathan Oliveira erzielen.
