Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Conglomerate Influx by Nate Lowman for USD 76,200.00 (€ 71,522.43). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Nate Lowman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled Marilyn #13 in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 530,500.00 (€ 643,624.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Conglomerate Influx von Nate Lowman für USD 76.200,00 (€ 71.522,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nate Lowman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled Marilyn #13 im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 530.500,00 (€ 643.624,15).
