A top price for Nate Lowman - as previously expected
The work Untitled Marilyn #13 by Nate Lowman was sold in the Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 530,500.00 (€ 643,624.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled Marilyn #13 is the most expensive artwork by Nate Lowman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled Marilyn #13 von Nate Lowman wurde im Februar 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 530.500,00 (€ 643.624,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled Marilyn #13 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nate Lowman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
