Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II, which included this untitled work by Nasrollah Afjehei. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 26,887.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nasrollah Afjehei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wave in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasrollah Afjehei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 26.887,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wave im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95).
