Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Van Yakad by Nasrollah Afjehei was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 60,896.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasrollah Afjehei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wave, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Van Yakad von Nasrollah Afjehei kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 60.896,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wave beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95) versteigert wurde.
