Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy by Nasrollah Afjehei was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2018. It achieved a price of USD 47,500.00 (€ 38,555.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasrollah Afjehei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wave, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Nasrollah Afjehei kam im März 2018 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 38.555,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wave beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95) versteigert wurde.
