Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 Christies in London held the auction Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Peacock by Nasrollah Afjehei. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 55,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 71,262.23). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasrollah Afjehei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wave, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peacock von Nasrollah Afjehei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 55.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 71.262,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wave beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95) versteigert wurde.
