Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Masami by Naoto Kawahara was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2012. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Naoto Kawahara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La victime in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,623.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Masami von Naoto Kawahara wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Naoto Kawahara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La victime im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.623,97).
