Sold at the upper estimate price
The work J by Nancy Grossman was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in October 2021. The auction ended at the price of USD 100,000.00 (€ 86,565.10), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nancy Grossman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arbus, which sold at auction in March 2018 for USD 225,000.00 (€ 182,629.87).

Die Arbeit J von Nancy Grossman wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 86.565,10) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nancy Grossman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Arbus beobachtet, die im März 2018 für USD 225.000,00 (€ 182.629,87) versteigert wurde.
