Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2009 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Erin O’Connor (After Millais) by Nadav Kander. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,886.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Admittedly, works by Nadav Kander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,044.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2009 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Erin O’Connor (After Millais) von Nadav Kander zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.886,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.500,00 – 4.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nadav Kander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chongqing IV (Sunday Picnic), Chongqing Municipality im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.044,88).
