This artwork by Mrinalini Mukherjee achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,812.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mrinalini Mukherjee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sri (Deity) in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 125,770.27).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mrinalini Mukherjee erzielte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled für USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.812,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mrinalini Mukherjee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sri (Deity) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 125.770,27).
