A top price for Mrinalini Mukherjee
In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Sri (Deity) by Mrinalini Mukherjee. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 98,500.00 (€ 125,770.27), 23% above the upper estimate. With this result, Sri (Deity) is even the most expensive work of art by Mrinalini Mukherjee that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sri (Deity) von Mrinalini Mukherjee zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 125.770,27) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Sri (Deity) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mrinalini Mukherjee, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
