A top price for Mrinalini Mukherjee
In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Sri (Deity) by Mrinalini Mukherjee. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 98,500.00 (€ 125,770.27), 23% above the upper estimate. With this result, Sri (Deity) is even the most expensive work of art by Mrinalini Mukherjee that we have observed at auctions so far.
