Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mrinalini Mukherjee was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 12,000.00 (€ 8,972.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mrinalini Mukherjee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sri (Deity) in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 125,770.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mrinalini Mukherjee kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 8.972,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mrinalini Mukherjee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sri (Deity) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 125.770,27).
