Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Moshekwa Langa was sold in the A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange auction at Christies in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 562.00 (€ 786.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshekwa Langa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape I in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,932.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshekwa Langa wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 562,00 (€ 786,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshekwa Langa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape I im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.932,55).
