A top price for Moshekwa Langa
When the work Landscape I by Moshekwa Langa was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 1,500.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,932.55). This high result makes Landscape I the most expensive artwork by Moshekwa Langa that we have observed at auctions so far.
