Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Moshe Mokady for USD 300.00 (€ 235.04). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Mokady achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Through an Open Window in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 188,500.00 (€ 140,117.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2006 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshe Mokady für USD 300,00 (€ 235,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Mokady erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Through an Open Window im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 188.500,00 (€ 140.117,45).
