Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Moshe Kupferman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2014. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,263.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moshe Kupferman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 26,400.00 (€ 19,326.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshe Kupferman kam im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.263,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Moshe Kupferman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 26.400,00 (€ 19.326,50) versteigert wurde.
