Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included this untitled work by Moshe Gershuni. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,635.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moshe Gershuni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 39,599.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Moshe Gershuni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.635,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moshe Gershuni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 39.599,17).
