Auction result well in line with expectations
The work If It Die by Moshe Gershuni was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2011. The price achieved of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,348.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moshe Gershuni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 39,599.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit If It Die von Moshe Gershuni kam im Dezember 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.348,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moshe Gershuni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 39.599,17).
